West End Live

"Do you hear the people sing?" Of course you do, because more than half a million people are singing this weekend "thank you for the music" in Trafalgar Square.

The West End is well known because of its buildings, shops, monuments and tourist attractions. But one thing that makes this area unique, same that happens in Broadway, is the impressive amount of Theatres. The best plays in the World are performing, without any doubt, in the West End.

The only problem is that most of the shows are very expensive and many Londoners cannot afford to enjoy them. That's why West End Live is returning for its 11th year to bring the most impressive performances on stage for free.

On Saturday 20th, crowds enjoyed with shows like The Commitments, Billy Elliot, Wicked, Matilda, Les Misèrables, Beautiful, Mamma Mia! or Jersey Boys. And they could also watch some premiers like Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (at the Regent's Park Open Air Theatre from the 16th July), American Idiot (from the 17th of July at The Arts Theatre), Elf The Musical (at the Dominion theatre from the 4th of October) and Stiles and Drewe's The Three Little Pigs (at the Palace Theatre from the 5th of August).

And today, from 12 to 17.45, you will be able to watch the Lion King, Stomp, Thriller, Memphis, Dusty, Avenue Q, Carmen and Let it be together with other great shows.

A great opportunity to spend Father's Day with the family and enjoy with the best theatre at the best price.
