About the Author

Born in Madrid, in 1985, María Moreno studied Journalism at Universidad Rey Juan Carlos of Madrid, Spain, and earned a Masters in Management and Business Communication Research at the same institution. Her studies were developed between Madrid, Rome and Dublin.

She has worked as a writer, broadcaster and presenter on CRN television channel and as a content manager for Banco Santander and the Spanish Public Administration. She currently writes the blog Periodismo Con Gafas, where she analyses the Spanish breaking news.

Since May 2012, she is living in London, where the project It Happens in London was created.
